Inside Sales Representative | Ashburn VA


We’re looking for a motivated, highly driven individual to join our growing Surveill product team to act in a dedicated, pre-sales role to help us drive sales, business development, pipeline and revenue. The successful candidate will bring passion, ambition and an entrepreneurial spirit to the role and will have the ability to drive results.

As part of the Sales team, the Inside Sales Representative becomes a specialist in business trends, the market situation, challenges, opportunities, and product/solution positioning in line with the specified account’s focus to drive tailored plans that help us achieve mutual pipeline acceleration and revenue growth. The Technical Inside Sales Representative works collaboratively on an ongoing basis towards the goal of long-term account retention and maximized selling opportunities.

Duties:

  • Develop and maintain an extensive working knowledge of Surveill

  • Assist in the development of tailored sales tools and related presentations as needed

  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations

  • Ability to cold call identified clients, either within the account or mutual end-user customers

  • Forecast, manage and report on ongoing sales and pipeline activity

  • Working closely with Channel Partners identifying new sales opportunities

  • Communicating regularly with sales reps

  • Updating customer records and forecasting in the CRM for tracking

Skills you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 2-3 years’ experience in B2B sales for a technology company

  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills

  • Excellent English communication skills

  • Able to articulate clearly and effectively in person, over the phone and in writing

  • Possesses strong troubleshooting skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Microsoft Dynamics CRM a plus

  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work with a minimum of direction and supervision to be able to translate broad directives into useful tactics and meaningful activities

  • Ability to work cross functionally and build relationships with core stakeholders

  • Organized, detailed and process oriented

  • Acumen for understanding of complex technology systems

Skills that are nice to have:

  • 1-2 years of experience with commercial Video Management Systems

  • Advanced knowledge in networking technology and architecture

  • Certifications for Microsoft, Security Engineering, Cyber Security, Networking or Project Management


Must have a valid passport and driver’s license

Salary Range: $55k - $75K (negotiable with experience)
